VLADIMIR SORAK
A freelance writer and poet, Vladimir’s writings draw on Orthodox spirituality to inspire his readers.
Vladimir grew up near a medieval Orthodox Zica monastery, located in the Serbian city of Kraljevo. After finishing elementary school, he and his family moved to Canada.
Some of his poems have been published in the magazines Ljudi Govore (People Speak), Novi Istocnik (New Easter) Svetosavsko Zvonce (St. Sava’s Bell). He has finished an Orthodox themed inspirational novella and is currently looking for a publisher.
He received an Honours Specilization Degree in Philosophy at the King’s University College. He currently works at the library and attends St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Ontario, Canada. Besides English, he speaks Serbian and some Greek.
